At GrInnWave, we believe in giving back to our community and supporting meaningful causes. As part of this effort, we extended our support to two incredible local institutions that support children and young people in need: Dom Maior and Ajuda de Berço.

  • Dom Maior has been providing specialized support for children and young people with disabilities for over seven years. Their work includes rehabilitation, specialized education, adapted sports, and inclusive arts projects like dance, music, and theater performances.
  • Ajuda de Berço offers a safe haven for children in urgent need of protection. They provide care and dignity to children facing neglect, abuse, or abandonment, helping them find a path forward through reunification, adoption, or other long-term solutions.

In our support of these institutions, we donated copies of “Daniel, o Guardador de Sonhos,” a book written by our colleague Catarina Rodrigues. The story sensitizes readers to themes of deafness and empathy, inspiring awareness and understanding across generations. Proceeds from the book support institutions that aid in the development of deaf children, meaning our donation contributes to these vital efforts while also bringing joy and inspiration to Dom Maior and Ajuda de Berço.

By supporting these incredible institutions, we aim to make a small but meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people, and hope that through the inspiring story of Daniel, these children find the strength to persevere, integrate into society, and chase their brightest dreams, fostering a brighter and more inclusive future.
